Meet the Team

Tonya Nagle, PhD, brings together more than two decades of publishing experience with a strong background in education, curriculum development, writing, and professional development.

​

Her academic work spans multiple disciplines, including a PhD in Higher Education Administration, an MFA in Creative Writing, master's degrees in English, Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction, and Appalachian Studies, as well as degrees in Psychology and Fine Arts. She is currently continuing her education through a certificate program in Entrepreneurship.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Tonya has built her career around teaching, writing, mentoring, instructional design, and helping others develop the knowledge and confidence to pursue their goals.

She has been a published author for more than 20 years, with experience in both small-press and independent publishing. As Executive Director and Founder of Evergreen Author Resources, Tonya leads the organization’s educational programming, resource development, strategic planning, and day-to-day operations, with a focus on making professional publishing education practical, accessible, and sustainable for authors at every stage of their careers.

D.C. Gomez is a USA Today bestselling author, educator, speaker, and coach whose work centers on mindset, motivation, communication, and helping others move confidently toward their goals.

Her academic background includes a Master of Science in Administration, a Master of Science in Education, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television. She also holds professional certifications in Meditation and Public Speaking and is certified as a Sexual Assault Advocate through the Department of Defense.

A U.S. Army veteran, D.C. brings together leadership, education, advocacy, creativity, and extensive experience in writing and publishing.

​

Her professional work spans coaching, public speaking, mindset and motivation, and author development. As Financial Director and Founder of Evergreen Author Resources, D.C. brings a practical, strategic perspective to the organization’s financial stewardship, sustainability, and long-term growth while continuing to support authors in building resilient and sustainable creative careers.

Jamie brings extensive hands-on experience in publishing, design, marketing, branding, coaching, and author support.

Her professional journey began in cover design and expanded into broader work in marketing, branding, coaching, and publishing. Along the way, she has completed multiple design-school certificates and additional professional training that support both her creative and strategic work.

Jamie’s experience gives her a strong understanding of how presentation, positioning, and reader-facing communication work together to shape an author’s brand and career. Her expertise includes marketing strategy, cover design, branding, coaching, publishing, and writing.

As a member of a military family, Jamie also brings a perspective shaped by adaptability, resilience, and service. As Marketing Director and Founder of Evergreen Author Resources, she helps guide the organization’s branding, outreach, promotional strategy, and author-facing marketing education, with an emphasis on helping authors connect authentically with readers and build sustainable visibility.
